There are several digital wallets that give you awesome FX conversion rates that are much better than even money changer rates and definitely bank credit card rates. Unless the credit card is giving a superb promotion for foreign currency spending in terms of miles or cashback, you are usually paying extra due to the bank fees and poor exchange rate.

I still recalled my vacation in Poland was so convenient because of my Revolut card. I just needed to top up my digital wallet with SGD (Singapore dollars), and whenever I need to spend Polish zloty, I just had to use the physical card that was given free and it immediately deducts based on the web FX rates. You will need to verify your identity and do the usual KYC (Know Your Customer) verification checks. I noticed it is almost instantaneous to get verified if you select ‘Digital Infomation’ and use your Singpass MyInfo for the identification checks.
Task 1: Top up $20 into the digital wallet. It can be spent/withdrawn easily. Use either credit card or GooglePay/ApplePay/SamsungPay to top up the $20.
Task 2: Select the free plastic card
Task 3: You need to trigger 3 transactions and you will get the $50 immediately. I find it easiest to top up your Grab digital wallet if you have 1. Just go to Card, generate a disposable card number and try to top up the Grab wallet with this card number. It will fail but just do it 1 more time and you will trigger the 3 transactions. ($1 validation check + 2 failed top-ups). If you do not have Grab wallet, then you can try to top up BigPay wallet or Shopee wallet. These will not result in failed transaction so you will need to generate 2 more disposable card numbers in order to trigger the 3 transactions.
Once 3 transactions are triggered, you will get your $50 credited to your wallet instantly. You can now FAST transfer the cash out to your bank account. Easy money.
